Neil Murray signs with Aguilar
Renowned British hard rock bass player Neil Murray (Snakecharmer – ex Whitesnake/Black Sabbath) has joined Aguilar Amplification’s UK artist roster. He is using an Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 head.
Currently playing in British hard rock outfit Snakecharmer in a line-up that includes Laurie Wisefield (Wishbone Ash) and Harry James (Thunder/Magnum), Murray’s CV features an extremely impressive list of past bass endeavours. A founding member of Whitesnake, he has gone on to play with the likes of The Brian May Band, Gary Moore and Black Sabbath.
Murray says: ‘Over the years, I’ve installed Aguilar pre-amps in some of my basses, and been very happy with the sound, and now I’m even happier that an Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 amp is part of my setup. Nothing flashy – just TONE!’
Snakecharmer recently released their second album ‘Second Skin’ and are making plans for their UK, European, Japanese and Australian 2018 tours.
