Summer NAMM 2017: reveals Fighter Series powered speakers

Available July 2017, Two-Way, Active Loudspeakers Feature Bluetooth® Audio Streaming, Three Input Channels, 1,100 Watts of Power.

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) announces the expansion of its Pro Audio offering with Fighter Series powered speakers debuting at Summer NAMM 2017 in Nashville, Tenn.
Perfect for bands, solo performers, DJs, schools, houses of worship and businesses – Fighter Series active, two-way powered speakers feature a unique combination of features, including high-quality Bluetooth audio streaming and three input channels with two-band EQ per channel to fine- tune audio for specific needs.
Joining Fender’s popular Fortis line is The Fighter Series, comprised of two reliable models, the Fighter 10 and Fighter 12 (based on 10” and 12” woofers). Both models combine high-fidelity power and versatility with portability and convenience at an affordable price.
Equipped with a 1,100W Class “D” power , the Fighter Series loudspeakers provide plenty of power for small and medium size venues. The three input channels with two-band EQ provide flexible connectivity for mixers, microphones or other audio equipment.

Ranging from 27-31 pounds, these loudspeakers are not only lightweight and durable for maximum portability, but they also provide a simple, easy-to-use setup for gigs or gatherings at home. High-quality Bluetooth® audio streaming capabilities also make it convenient to play music from a smartphone, tablet or laptop during backyard pool parties or during set-up and in between sets on a gig.
Additional highlights on both Fighter Series models include: a rugged, compact and lightweight wood enclosure with a perforated steel grille; loop output with subwoofer crossover switch; and a dual tuned-port system.
“Active speakers continue to be favoured over powered mixers and passive speakers based on the ease of use and flexibility they offer,” said Jim Ninesling, SVP Consumer Electronics at Fender.
“The new Fighter Series loudspeakers expand Fender’s Pro Audio offering to accommodate demand for this growing trend, while providing a unique combination of practical features – like Bluetooth streaming, three input channels with two-band EQ, and wood construction – that you’ll rarely find together on other powered speakers, especially from a premium brand at a price that delivers extremely high value.”

NEW Fighter Series: Launching July 2017 – £310 (Fighter 10) £335 (Fighter 12)
Experience incredible Fender® sound with the affordable, versatile and super-portable powered Fighter Series loudspeakers. The Fighter 10 and Fighter 12, which are 10” and 12”, respectively, are equipped with 1,100W Class “D” power amplifiers that provide plenty of power for the high-quality woofers and 1″ titanium horn-loaded high-frequency compression drivers.
Dynamic limiting circuitry in both speakers continuously monitors headroom and seamlessly adjusts system gain for distortion-free power even at higher volume levels. The Fighter 10 and Fighter 12 also include onboard Bluetooth® audio streaming capabilities, three input channels on both speakers and each two-band EQ on each channel to dial in the desired sound for every performance.
