Summer NAMM 2019: Reverend launches the Manta Ray 390, Charger RAFM and new Reeves Gabrels signature

Reverend has lost none of its retro edge over the years, and its three new guitars are no exception. Launched at Summer NAMM 2019, the Manta Ray 390, Charger RAFM and RGX drip with vintage cool while maintaining the playability and robustness for which the brand is known.
The Manta 390The Manta Ray 390 is a semi-hollow six-string equipped with a trio of Reverend P-90s (called CP90) that makes it an “incredibly versatile” instrument, the brand said. It has a set neck and, like most other Reverend guitars, a korina body with all the bells and whistles.
The Charger RAFMThe Charger RAFM is, as its name suggests, a more rock-ready guitar. It has a Railhammer Hyper Vintage humbucker at the bridge and a Railhammer Nuevos 90 in the neck – but what really sets this model apart is its caramel-coloured dark roasted maple neck and a gorgeous flame maple top.
The RGX 10th Anniversary ModelFinally, the RGX is a signature guitar for Reeves Gabrels, meant to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the partnership. This edition sports a transparent black flame maple top, an aluminium pickguard and an RG-X fretboard inlay. Otherwise, the RGX has the same pickups – custom Railhammers – pau ferro fingerboard, a Wilkinson trem, and push-pull phase switch in the tone knob.
