G System and Marshall JVM410H
Hi all. Just wanted to relay some information on connecting the G System with the Marshall JVM410H. As of this writing i have had the G Sys for 4 days. I bought it used and installed the latest firmware. I am going guitar into jvm head . I am using the series / parallel loop outs with mix at 12 o clock between wet and dry. The send is going to the insert return on the G and the return is going to the mono out on the G Sys. The input level meter on the G Sys isnt in green or red but theres plenty of volume and it sounds ok. I get chorus delay reverb etc but the noise gate doesnt work . Also with effects off the signal sounds a little flanged. But im happy cause im on the right track finally. I dont like running guitar into G sys then out mono to head guitar input. Way too much effect levels. Cant reduce without reducing signal. Oh well. pzsecuro@cox.net. Any input no pun or help accepted thanks.
