g system with an interesting two amp question

Hey guys!

A few questions regarding a two amp configuration.

What I’m trying to do is have a single channel Marshall amp with effects loop connected to the g system as the primary amp, meaning all effects go via effects loop and drives via front of the amp. I’m currently running this set up now.
And now I’m planning to introduce a G&K 250ml (solid-state amp) just running to the front of the amp.
If anyone is familiar with the amp, it’s a stereo amp that has to run with two separate speakers. I will not be running a cab switcher but rather have the G&K’s direct out going to the mixer. The G&K will have its own effects loop effects, that will not tie into the g system whatever, besides the front of the amp.

In a nut shell all g system effects going into the Marshall – going into its own cab, as a dirty channel. Then switch using the g system, into the G&K that’s connected to the front of the house – that is technically my clean channel.

Can this be done? I know I’m using an input and a output of the g system for my Marshall’s effects loop and also another output for the front of the amp. Which leaves me with one more output for the G&K.

Will I be able to toggle between the two amps? or even use both? And if I am able to switch to the G&K, will my Marshall be OK as far as proper switching is concerned?

If anyone is familiar with this concept please feel free to shed some light.
Thank you
