Question: Difference between Cutlass and Stingray model years

I’m currently trying to decide between getting a new or used Cutlass HSS or a Stingray, and have been perusing Reverb for used options and SweetwaterMusician’s Friend for new. What I’m wondering is if there are any other differences between model years other than the ‘roasted maple’ necks on the 2019 models and some color/fingerboard option differences. In terms of neck shapes, pickups, or electronics, are they essentially the same guitar from 2016-2019, other than the roasted maple and color/fingerboard choices?

I’m hoping to avoid buying a 2016 model, and then realizing there is one critical difference I wasn’t aware of and regret the purchase.
