Lakewood’s new Edition
Lakewood has added a new range to its range of highly regarded acoustic guitars, the Edition Series. Lakewood plans to present new models in the Edition Series every year, as it puts it: ‘to give us the chance to show more special appointments that are sometimes being chosen from our customers and that might be interesting for others as well’.
The first Edition Series was debuted at the Frankfurt Musikmesse this year and consisted of eight new instruments including, among others, a maple bodied and AAA spruce topped Auditorium size A20, an all-mahogany D18, a pair of Grand Concert models, and a Grand Concert Baritone model.
Further news from Lakewood is that its innovative Guitar-Designer, a 3D configuration tool on its website, is now online in a new version. Lakewood says it works on most devices using the major operating systems and most browsers without the need of installing special software or plug-ins. ‘While revising the structure of our Customshop has remarkably changed and offers more options and better combination possibilities. Custom request are now even easier with Lakewood Guitars!’ the company says.
