HHB bringing haul of new tech to BVE 2018

The distributor will present an array of products from its brand portfolio

HHB will showcase a number of new technologies from co-exhibitors Avid, BroaMan, Nugen Audio, RTW, Studer, Wohler, Yellowtec and Zoom at the BVE show at London’s Excel, which runs from February 27-March 1.

Recently appointed as its distributor for UK and Ireland, HHB will highlight Studer’s Micro, Glacier and new Vista 5 Black Edition 32-fader console with Compact Infinity Core plus COTS (Commodity Off The Shelf) server, running Studer’s CoreLink Card for DSP redundancy.

Avid products will include new 2018 Pro Tools software enhancements including Track Presets, Retrospective MIDI Record, Mix Window EQ Graphs and Cloud Based Licensing alongside the latest hardware including S6 and S3 consoles, Pro Tools Dock and MTRX interface. The company will demonstrate how integration between Pro Tools and Dolby Atmos Production Suite streamlines users’ workflow and adds support for Ambisonic, Binaural and VR production.

Nugen Audio will present its latest Halo Upmix solution and demonstrate the latest AMB tools – using AMB Loudness, DynApt or Upmix modules with the new AMB Dolby Module. Additionally, Audinate will demo its new Dante Domain Manager (DDM) software alongside other AoIP-focused brands including Amphenol, Focusrite PRO, Genelec, Lynx, NTP and Studio Technologies.

BroaMan will be showing its new Repeat8-NANO series converters, while RTW will bring its latest audio and loudness metering software and hardware developments to the show, including the TouchMonitor range and CLC dynamic loudness algorithm for live or file-based applications. The complete range of Yellowtec technologies can also be found at HHB, including the new Intellimix AoIP Desktop Mixer with G-Touch faders.

Meanwhile, Wohler’s iAM series lets users monitor a mix of analogue, digital and IP signals easily and transparently, now with additional software support for SMPTE 2110 & 2022-7 plus MPEG 2/4 IP monitoring. Finally, Zoom will showcase a number of its portable audio and video recorders including the new F1 Field Recorder. Demonstrations will also include the new H1N and Ambisonic recording for VR and 360 productions using Soundfield microphones in conjunction with Zoom F4 and F8 Recorders.
