ISE 2018 records busiest year with 10% increase on visitor numbers

Floor space confirmed for ISE 2019 currently stands at 103% of the total booked for ISE 2018

ISE 2018 drew record crowds this year, with 10.3% more visitors than 2017

The busiest Integrated Systems Europe in its 15-year history drew record numbers of exhibitors and attendees for four days of business, education and networking at the RAI Amsterdam between 6-9 February.

The number of exhibitors totalled 1,296, of which 294 were exhibiting at ISE for the first time. Floor space confirmed for ISE 2019 currently stands at 103% of the total booked for ISE 2018.

The number of registered visitors by the end of the show had reached 80,923, an increase of 10.3% on the 2017 edition. Almost 20,000 visitors attended the last day of the show, and over 30% of the total attendees were visiting ISE for the first time.

Mike Blackman, ISE MD, said: “It’s been a great show that has delivered on all fronts. I’m delighted to report that visitor numbers and exhibitor satisfaction have both been very high. On behalf of ISE, I’d like to thank all our attendees, exhibitors, partners and our co-owners AVIXA and CEDIA. This combination has made ISE what it is today and ensures that we are able to build on our successes year on year.”

Many exhibitors once again used the show as a launchpad for new products, technologies and solutions. Among these, the d&B Soundscape, Kramer’s Yardent VT-2 speakers, Clear-Com’s HelixNet Digital Network Partyline System, and XTA Electronics’ XTA DPA/DNA Series Digital Processing Amplification all won the NewBay Best of Show ISE awards.
