Mapex adds two to UK roster

Mapex Drums has added two new players to its UK Artist Roster, Adam Breeze and Jack Wrench.

Distributor Korg UK says Adam Breeze joined UK Rock Band, Raveneye, in 2016 and quickly went on to support the likes of KISS, Aerosmith and The Darkness. The band has just finished recording their second full length album at Monnow Valley Studios, with Adam using his new Saturn V Tour Edition kit.

Breeze says: ‘The kit was really easy to tune and sounded fat! The Maple/Walnut shell construction, gave the warmth and attack needed for the all round rock tone we were looking for.’

Jack Wrench

Best known for his work with alternative rock band Arcane Roots, the last few years have seen Jack Wrench tour the world, performing alongside the likes of Muse, Biffy Clyro, Incubus, Enter Shikari and many others, Korg explains. ‘Jack recently begin to integrate electronics into his setup, sparking a new love for the ever expanding world of hybrid drumming and, with Arcane Roots having recently announced their split, Jack is now setting his sights on the next project and chapter in his career.’

Wrench says: ‘For me, joining the Mapex family has been one of the greatest achievements of my musical life so far. The drums are designed with a mountain of knowledge & care, and I truly believe you can hear this in each kit. To be involved with a team that are consistently innovating and redefining expectations is something that really excites me.’

UK Artist Manager, Martin Potts, added: ‘Both Adam and Jack have an energy and passion for drums and performance that fit perfectly with the Mapex ethos and we’re delighted to have them both on board’.

Both artists are exclusively playing Saturn V Tour Edition kits with Jack using 10/12/14/16/22 and Adam using 24/13/16/18”.
