New MI trade title MI Focus launches in UK
New UK MI trade publication
MI Focus, a brand new online trade publication servicing the UK MI (musical instrument) industry, has launched today.
Founded by former MI Pro editor Laura Barnes, MI Focus promises to provide up to the minute news from the MI trade, along with in-depth market analysis, features and interviews with industry professionals and leading executives. The site will also cover related pro audio news.
The launch comes just days after MI Pro closed for business.
“I have absolutely loved working in the UK MI industry, and following the closure of MI Pro, I wanted to continue to offer the trade the latest musical industry news, in-depth interviews, opinion from industry experts, and vital analysis on the retail sector,” said MI Focus founder and publisher Laura Barnes.
“With MI Focus, we aim to fully serve the entire industry and shine a light on some of the latest innovations to hit the MI, audio and retail sectors. We’d love for MI retailers, distributors and manufacturers, as well as the musicians using their gear, to get in touch and tell us what type of content they’d like to see on MI Focus so we can make sure we’re serving up the perfect mix of content.”
The new website, https://mifocus.co.uk/ is designed to keep readers up-to-date with all things MI and will also host guest columns, review the latest gear, feature a dedicated events section, and offer news roundups of related audio sectors.
