TC expands MASH line-up with Flashback 2 delay

Following the launch of TC’s Hall of Fame 2 Reverb, it didn’t take Mystic Meg to predict that the Danish FX company would follow with an upgraded Flashback delay – and it has. Just announced in the USA, the Flashback 2 is making its debut and is set to ship in July.
TC says: ‘The time-honoured tradition of knob-twisting on delay pedals for spacecraft oscillations is easier than ever with MASH. The effects go from subtle to radical with complete dynamic control. But the crown jewel of Flashback 2 Delay is that MASH can be made to manipulate almost any aspect of the pedal with the free TonePrint Editor, giving you much more than just a delay pedal. Set MASH to control signal level to work like a volume pedal, modulation depth on the delayed repeats, or in the Dynamic mode, control the ducking of the delay. The sky is not the limit. There are no limits.’
Hyperbole aside, the Flashback 2 is also the first pedal to feature ‘Crystal delay’, evolved from the idea of Shimmer reverb and remoulded to a delay effect, courtesy of TC’s own polyphonic octave algorithm from Sub ‘N’ Up, the company says.
No UK prices yet but the Flashback 2 has a US MAP of $169.99
