Flashback x4 Power
I am putting together a pedal board for my acoustic rig. So far I have LR Baggs Venue DI, with Flashback x4 and Hall Of Fame in the effects loop of the Venue DI. All pedals are being powered by a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 Plus.
The Flashback x4 was being powered using the current doubling cable from outputs 5 and 6 of the Pedal Power 2 Plus as seems to be the recommended method when I have been Googling. The problem is that the Flashback would intermittently turn off and an audible click could be heard.
I have since been powering the Flashback x4 straight from output 5 of the Pedal Power 2 Plus and the problem seems to have stopped.
The current draw of the Flashback x4 is slightly too high for the Pedal Power 2 Plus, although I have been reading mixed views about this online. Will I be OK leaving it as is? Thought I would ask on here as I have acoustic gigs coming up and don’t want any problems.
