Vader Sound Officially Launch for the UK & European MI Sector

Vader Sound, run by Father-and-Son duo Paul and Billy Smith, aim to connect musicians with the brands and gear they love, amidst the ever-changing retail landscape.

Built on decades of industry experience and trusted relationships across the music sector, Vader Sound brings a fresh, partnership-driven approach to helping brands grow their presence, brand identity and value, in the UK, Europe, and beyond.

With experience of product development, brand management, artist relations, and international sales, Paul Smith has developed world-renowned MI brands such as Vintage Guitars, Encore, Odyssey and Kinsman, as well as partnerships with major international names including Danelectro, Graphtech, Fishman, Godin, Xvive Audio and Supro.

Working together with son Billy, means that their diverse expertise forms the backbone of Vader Sound.

Paul Smith comments, “With a new generation’s perspective, Vader Sound was created to offer global music brands a more personal, collaborative, and strategically focused entry into the UK and European markets. The Vader Sound name was inspired by one of the most iconic characters in film history and the word also means ‘Father’ in Dutch. So, as a father-and-son team, it felt like the perfect fit.”

From their base in the North of England, Paul and Billy operate as an extension of each brand’s team providing hands-on strategy, deep market knowledge, and a multi-channel approach for long-term success, whilst strengthening customer relationships and brand value.
