Problems with my Majesty

I’ve got an Artisan Majesty that I’ve had since 4/01 of last year that was purchased new from guitar center. It was played virtually everyday without any faults up until 4/01 this year (ironic lol) where I had knee surgery and was bed ridden for a while. The guitar sat for about a month before I could make it up to my rig and try and play.

When I plug the cable into the guitar I get about 1/2 second of sound output and it dies. When I plug it in, the blue light on my battery will flash for about 2sec. The sound will die at the same time as the light.

Once I unplug the cable, the blue light again will flash for about 2sec, shut off, and then flash orange once really quickly.

I’ve tried different amps, a different cable, changed batteries, I plugged the guitar in after removing the batteries with the amp on to try and drain any power still in the guitar for 30 minutes, put fresh batteries in it, and still nothing different than before.

Is there anything else I should try before bringing the guitar in? I have 5 years of pro coverage through GC but would rather not ship it out if I don’t have to.
