Ditto X4 Audio Files Low Level?
New to TC, got a Ditto X4 a few weeks back.
Made my first attempt to click and drag a saved loop to my DAW. Everything worked according to plan, except the audio level of the AIFF and WAV files was barely audible. Visually, the wave appeared as a straight line in Logic. Normalizing the clip, as one would expect, resulted in an audible file smothered in hiss.
Also, thru the hiss, I’m pretty confident that only the initial layer of the loop was saved and transfered; elements added after tapping thru from record to play and back to record did not appear to be present.
What am I doing wrong? Or is this just to be expected?
