Ditto x4 – syncing with BeatBuddy
I bought my Ditto x4 earlier today and honestly it’s been rather disappointing – I’m considering returning it at this stage.
MIDI sync is just abysmal. Why does it sync to the beat and not the bar? What’s the point of that?? Why would I ever want to create a loop on any other beat of the bar other than beat 1?
It also appears to only sync the clock before you record. So after that, it will just gradually drift away until it’s just a mess.
Sorry to be so negative, but this is the only reason I bought this device. Please someone tell me I’m wrong, that this is either a faulty unit, user error or maybe I just need some new firmware. I really want this thing to work.
