Does my JP BFR from 2008 have SS frets? (details inside)
Hi all,
I have noticed some fret wear on my JP BFR, which at first I thought was strange as I thought it had Stainless Steel frets and I don’t think I have played it enough to wear that sort of material down. But perhaps they didn’t start using Stainless Steel material for the frets until later?
From the Serial Number Database I have the following information on the guitar:
