EBMM Cutlass SSS body

Does anyone know how many pieces the body of this guitar usually does or can consist of? I just bought one from the original owner and was a bit surprised when I got it home to see (in better light) two join lines on the top rather clearly. Is this considered normal and if not, would this detail make it a “factory second”? Thanks for any facts or even opinions –
