JP6 switch wiring question
Hello. I’ve recently switched the magnetic selector switch on my 2011 JP6 with the newer (long PCB) style switch.
They work fine and seemed more sturdy than the older switch, but I have a question regarding the solder terminal right below the one used for ground. (No.7 in the below picture)
When I wired my ground to that hole, the resulting tone was much brighter, twangy, almost like a split coil, but both coils are still running (no hum).
