Majesty 2020 weakened neck pickup

I just received a wonderful 2020 Majesty Smoked Pearl 7 strings…

I noticed that compared to the Monarchy 6 strings the neck pickup is placed more inside the body and the distance with the strings is considerable.

Furthemore, according to the DiMarzio site the Rainmaker is weaker than Sonic Ecstasy so the result is that the neck pickup sounds weaker and unbalanced compared to the bridge pickup.

Is it normal, or could there be a problem with my guitar?
