Question: Trem Arm Adjustment

I’ve adjusted the trem arm on my Majesty so that the arm stays fairly stationary and doesn’t swing. It’s pretty tight and difficult to remove when I’m finished playing. Is it recommended to just leave it in the guitar while in the case? It seems that the case is designed for that.
