Sabre HT Volume pot scratchy and cutting out

I just got a Sabre HT in a trade yesterday love the guitar, but the volume pot is scratchy when being turned. Also, if bumped when using the selector switch it cuts the signal out entirely. I opened it up all the solder connections are good, swapped the battery, and used some deoxit. Any other issues I should check for? Also, the shaft for the pot seams really loose and rocks back and forth. The tone pot feels normal and doesn’t rock back and forth. Checked the hex nuts. I’m throughly…
