Stingray Special pickup dimensions and aftermarket choices

I have a beautiful Stingray5 Special HH, I especially love its playability to bits. I also did this mod to get a really cool P-bass-like tone from it. The thing is, of course, there’s no hum cancelling that way. So I wanted to switch the pickups to quad-coils, so I could use “individual” coils and combinations. I went ahead and bought a set of Delano MC 5 FE/M2’s and their SONAR 3 MS electronics, only to find upon arrival that the pickups won’t fit the route at all.
