First Line Distribution Brings Legator Guitars To The UK
First Line Distribution is partnering exclusively with Legator Guitars to bring their catalogue of extended range guitars to the UK. Featuring models with 6, 7, 8 and even 9 strings, the Legator collection is available now. The guitars are built in Korea, Japan and China, including a signature collection, headless models and multi-scale guitars, including acoustics.
Legator Guitars started in Los Angeles, California, nearly 10 years ago. Their their
focus is on playability, innovation and creativity. They offer a variety of body shapes
and finishes, from the traditional to the extreme, but always with a unique twist. In
addition to solid and sparkle colours their specialty figured finishes include hand-
stained USA-sourced buckeye burl tops and custom options. They see their
instruments appealing particularly to the metal market and the fast-growing new
generation players.
First Line Distribution has been supplying supplying guitars and accessories to music
shops in the UK and Ireland since 2004. With a focus on brands that are doing
something innovative and interesting, they have been concentrating mainly on guitar
effects and accessories in recent years. They are excited to have guitars back in their
portfolio with addition of Legator.
Jay Henson, CEO of First Line, says, “Legator caught my eye at NAMM three years
ago, and we are thrilled to be working with them to bring these great instruments to the UK market now. Legator are renown for incredible playability and really stunning
finishes. These guitars are becoming increasingly popular with the growing market of
young metal players, but there really is something for everyone – even those who have
been craving a 9-string shred guitar!”
Legator will be available only from a small number of selected dealers. Contact First
Line for more information.
