PSNEurope parent company NewBay is currently recruiting for an event marketing executive to join its busy events team.
This is a fantastic role for someone who wants to establish their career within event marketing while working on an exciting and varied portfolio of events. You will be involved in all aspects of the marketing campaigns from copy writing to direct mail, building and updating websites, producing event brochures and sourcing and following up with media partners.

As the event marketing executive you will be working across a portfolio of high profile UK based media events, all associated with successful B2B publishing brands. You will be responsible for managing the full marketing campaigns for awards ceremonies, conferences, industry parties and webinars across Music, TV & Entertainment, Pro Audio, Games, Bikes and Tech. This role is varied and fast paced – a fantastic opportunity to shine and progress within a growing publishing and events business.
Responsibilities will include:
Working with the Head of Events Marketing to create effective marketing campaigns to reach business objectives
Creating a marketing universe for each product by mining the database, performing gap analysis, researching new lists and designing strategies/solutions where gaps exist
Competitor research and analysis
Working directly with sponsorship sales and delegate sales to generate sales leads through targeted marketing campaigns
Identifying and facilitating relationships with event supporters, stake holders and media partners to access new data and marketing channels for event promotion
Measure response, perform tests and adjust accordingly to ensure the marketing is performing to the best of its ability
Producing excellent copy to use across multiple marketing platforms including websites, emails and social media
The creation and design of engaging and informative event websites
Putting together brochures and marketing collateral for the events
Creating and delivering social media campaigns including PPC
Working with clients to deliver all elements of sponsorship contracts relating to marketing
Coming up with creative marketing initiatives to achieve set revenue targets
Preferred (but not essential) Experience:
Minimum 6 months marketing experience within a commercial, B2B company
A good understanding of basic marketing activity including HTML emails, use of social media for B2B promotion, pay-per-click marketing and digital marketing
Ability to plan and manage integrated marketing activities across a number of products simultaneously
Good IT skills, in particular; Excel, website management tools and email marketing platforms such as Adestra
Solid copywriting capabilities

The role requires a personable and dynamic individual who is independently minded and self-motivated
Gravitas, credibility and strength of character – acting as a role model for the business values and behaviours to the wider NewBay staff
NewBay is a business of approx. 70 people, the successful candidate must be a hands on team player who shall be key in the event development of the business
The role is based in the London Bridge offices.
