Sky’s The Limit for The UK Drum Show 2024

Sky’s The Limit for The UK Drum Show 2024

Organisers of The UK Drum Show will be running a campaign of TV and On Demand advertising with Sky ahead of this year’s UK Drum Show, which takes place on the 28th & 29th September at the ACC Liverpool.

The 30 second commercial will target key geographical locations throughout the UK, both with TV advertising and those that use Sky’s On Demand services. The advertising will take place in both June and September 2024, targeting users and households most interested in relatable content to promote the forthcoming show.

“Whilst we are thrilled with last years growing attendance, what we have created in Liverpool with The UK Drum Show, is something special and we want to promote the opportunity to further drummers and percussionists to come join us this year. The vibe and sense of community is just off the scale at this event, so naturally we want to reach out to those that have not experienced the show yet and invite them to come and see what the show is all about this September,” states show organiser, Neil Golding.

Having retuned from COVID, The UK Drum Show 2022 and 2023 has seen a steady incline in attendance at the shows, with what feels like, a purpose built home at the ACC Liverpool. When the show returned in April 2022, it was clear that both the trade and drummers had been long awaiting the return of “their” much loved show, and 2023 continued this theme with over 5,700 guests heading to Liverpool. Speaking with Golding, ahead of the 2024 show, he mentioned, “it is clear that companies are unified with investing, expanding and coming together at The UK Drum Show. In the 18 month gap between the 2022 show and the 2023 show returning to its typical September dates, bookings for 2024 overtook 2023 in just 8 weeks after 2023 concluded and they have just kept coming. Also, most notable, has been the attention and effort with using the expanded skills, no doubt learnt and polished during lockdown, with brands communicating their physical attendance at this event, which assists with driving and growing the community attendance in Liverpool. As corny as it sounds, if everyone comes together, creates a high quality focal point on the calendar, the strength of collaboration means everybody wins!”

With just 4 booths available at The UK Drum Show 2024 as of the 7th February, seven months ahead of this years show, Golding recently announced in the last quarter of 2023, that his delayed plans for The Europe Drum Show, which was put on hold during the pandemic, will proceed in Friedrichshafen, Germany in March 2025. News of this carbon copy event has been well received from the drum and percussion trade thus far by all accounts, and with over a decade in organising drum shows, we look forward to learning about the UK’s 2024 show and the 2025 launch in Germany next year.
