Ernie Ball shows Family Reserve models for August
Ernie Ball Music Man has three ‘Family Reserve’ offerings as usual this month – one of which is a stunning, not to say head turning – six string bass.
Guitars first however, which are led by a Cutlass in SSS pickup format. The model comes in a Cornsilk White finish with white neck binding, while the rosewood fingerboard features mother of pearl block inlays. The lightweight alder body is finished in an opaque off-white custom ‘Cornsilk’ finish with a polyester clear coat and the figured maple neck is accented by a matching painted headstock with Schaller locking tuners.
The second guitar model is an orange Albert Lee in HH format, The guitar sports a light weight mahogany body in Orange Crush sparkle finish. A satin finished maple neck with ebony fingerboard matches a painted headstock and the ebony fingerboard features mother of pearl block inlays and hand fitted white binding.
The head turner of the trio is a Bongo 6HH bass. This features a dual humbucking basswood body finished in a custom medium metallic ‘Grabber’ green finish. The bass also sports a highly figured roasted maple neck bearing a satin finish and a rosewood fingerboard with white position markers and hand fitted white binding.
Outside the USA, the August Family Reserve models will be available from 15th September.
