Fontaines DC share surreal new video for A Lucid Dream
Fontaines DC have shared a new video for their track A Lucid Dream – take a look above.
The song is taken from their recent album A Hero’s Death, which was released back in July. The album came after the incredible success of their debut, Dogrel, and was in part a response to the pressures that the meteoric rise put on the band – their extensive live schedule saw them tour with Idles, play four times in a weekend at Glastonbury and nine times in five days at SXSW Festival.
Speaking to Guitar.com, however, guitarist Carlos O’Connel said “We didn’t know what we were wishing for when we were moaning all of last year. I’d love to go back and torture myself again on the road.”
The band have also recently started sharing ‘isolation’ versions of tracks from A Hero’s Death on their YouTube channel.
