Question: Majesty: How do YOU use the +20db feature?

I’ve been experimenting with the +20db feature. When I plug it in to my Carvin Legacy 3 amp, it’s very apparent on the clean channel. The pot on the back is turned all the way up. However when I switch to the high gain channel, there’s almost no difference.

That makes sense to me as on that channel, I have the gain way up which naturally clips the signal to get that nice lush overdrive.

I had hoped to be able to punch up my leads in a live setting using this feature.

Curious to know how other people use this feature at home or in a live setting. Feel like I’m missing something.
