1. Truetone 1 Spot CS12
A 12-output powerhouse, Truetone’s CS12 boasts, as you’d expect, 12 fully-isolated outputs with high-draw ones included. It also offers two AC outputs, perfect for making sure you never part with your old DigiTech Whammy to piss off your neighbours with your pastiche of Tom Morello for the umpteenth time. Surprisingly affordable given the level performance it produces, its hard to find any negatives around the CS12.

3. Cioks DC7
Whilst we could have opted for Cioks DC10 or even ADAM, we chose the DC7 simply for impressively compact format, especially given the amount of outputs on board, and its ease of use. It offers recessed dual DIP switches for each output to set the voltage to nine, 12, 15 or even 18V, and the available current per output is 660mA, dropping to 330mA if you set the voltage to 18V. The DC7 has a built-in IEC mains inlet, which can automatically entertain mains voltages from 90-265 Volts AC, at 50 or 60 Hz. It’s not cheap, but for this form factor, seven outputs and a built-in IEC, it might be just what you’re looking for.

4. MXR Iso-Brick
An updated version of MXR’s increasingly popular DC Brick, the Iso-Brick is basically that exact same enclosure, warts and all, but with full isolation. With a variety of different currents on offer via its ten outputs, and also including two 6-15V variable voltage outputs that can emulate voltage “sag,” this silver box is the perfect upgrade to its DC only sibling. It also comes in a five output format too, if you’re looking for something slightly more slimline.

Perfect for small and medium sized ‘boards alike, the T-Rex Fuel Tank Jr is both a streamlined and wallet friendly solution to your demand for power. The 1 Spot’s main selling point is that it’s easily configurable to allow for multiple PSUs on one plug, letting you daisy chain to your heart’s content. Whilst you might balk at the price for what is essentially a simple PSU adapter, note that the ability to power multiple stompboxes all on one strip puts it ahead of your standard adapter. If you’re in desperate need of pedal power and don’t have much dough to spare, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better deal than this.

Arguably the best option for those that prefer to use Pedaltrain ‘boards, the Spark has been specifically engineered to fit underneath the company’s Nano and Metro offerings, without the need for any drilling or overzealous modding. Squeezing five isolated outputs into this form factor is a feat in itself, whilst it also includes short circuit protection and output regulation. Despite leaning on the expensive side, it does come with a Pedaltrain mounting kit, and does allow for your mini ‘board to stay lean and clean, letting you ensure none of your precious real estate is taken up by an unsightly chunk of metal.

10. Mooer Micro Power S8
Coming in at a more budget-friendly price point, the Mooer Micro Power S8 combines isolated and non-isolated outputs in a sturdy and robust package. Four fully isolated outputs alongside four non-isolated outputs, which all share 400mA combined. Whilst that’s not a particularly large amount, it’s more than enough to cover the majority of digital pedals. If that doesn’t cover your needs however, there’s a handy LED above the output to indicate whether the pedal requires more power than what’s available. It also includes surge protection and a voltage switch to make it usable worldwide. Not bad at all for a box that comes in just shy of 80 quid.
