Fender introduces the eye-catching MIJ Black Paisley Stratocaster

Fender has introduced the limited edition Black Paisley Stratocaster, made in Japan and built with some distinctly vintage features.
The Stratocaster employs a silver and black paisley finish, which extends from its basswood body to its pickguard. Paired with the body is a U-shaped maple neck and a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25” radius. According to Fender, these were chosen for a vintage-playing feel.
The vintage-styled appointments don’t end there however. Aboard, there’s also a set of three Fender USA Vintage Stratocaster single-coils voiced to reproduce “authentic Strat tone from Fender’s golden era”, controlled by a familiar Strat combination of a master volume pot and two tone knobs.
Its hardware also harkens back to Fender’s past with a vintage-style synchronised tremolo, vintage tuning machines and even a vintage-style butt-adjusted truss rod.

Last week, it unveiled a signature Ukulele with Billie Eilish, and last month, the brand also announced the return of its Road Worn instrument line, which feature hand-distressed nitro finishes for a vintage look right out of the box.
Fender is also an official partner at the upcoming Guitar.com Live, our first-ever free virtual show which brings together artists, brands and fans from 2-4 October 2020. Other brands slated to lift the lid on new products at the show include Taylor and Ernie Ball Music Man.
The Limited Edition Black Paisley Strat is available now at $999. Learn more at Fender.com
