Fender’s Troublemaker Telecaster Deluxe is suited for “aggressive playing”

Fender has launched the Troublemaker Telecaster Deluxe, a humbucker-equipped electric that comes as part of its Parallel Universe series. According to the brand, the guitar is suited for aggressive styles of playing, pairing a solid chunk of mahogany making up its body for accentuated mid-range growl with custom humbuckers.
The guitar also features a mahogany neck, which pairs a modern “C” neck profile with a more classic satin nitro lacquer finish. Its ebony fingerboard has 22 medium-jumbo frets and a radius of 12″. Rounding off the neck are also a bone nut, black block inlays and 1-ply black neck binding.
As mentioned above, there are a duo of custom humbuckers on the guitar; With the pair of Double Tap humbuckers, Fender promises a “rowdy-yet-refined” voice with the Troublemaker Tele. For controls, you’ll find a pair of volume and tone knobs, as well as a three-position pickup selector.
The Troublemaker Tele matches its Olympic White lacquer finish with gold die-cast tuning machines and an Adjusto-Matic bridge. There’s also a four-bolt neck plate and a three-ply pickguard.

The Troublemaker Tele is available now at $2,399 and ships with its own deluxe hard case.
