Guild’s 300 Series acoustics offer “quintessential” Guild tone at a “newly approachable price point”

Guild Guitars has launched a new range of acoustic guitars with an “approachable price point” and “quintessential” Guild tone.
The 300 Series offers models both in its dreadnought and OM shapes, and includes a choice between either solid Spruce or solid Mahogany top construction with Mahogany back and sides. These guitars keep a range of players in mind, from beginners on a budget to experienced players looking for a no-fuss model.

Premium features include a Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, comfortable c-shaped neck, nickel peak headstock logo, black binding, a matching black tortoise pickguard, and Guild Vintage 16 gear tuners.
Each 300 Series model is complete with an open pore natural satin finish that allows the tonewood to resonate more freely for a rich and balanced tone, according to the brand, making them suitable for both fingerstyle guitarists, and those looking for something with a bold and bright tone for strumming.
The 300 series consists of four models in total – the OM-320 and D-320 (with solid Mahogany tops), plus the OM-340 and D-340 (with solid Spruce tops). As you may well have guessed, the letter(s) prior to each model number are indicative of its body shape, and all four models are priced the same at $299.99.

“We are always thrilled to bring the quality and heritage that Guild acoustic guitars are beloved for to a new audience of players,” comments Nick Beach, Product Manager at Guild. “But, for this release we are especially happy about the opportunity to offer players these attributes at a new level of affordability.”
