Harley Benton announces the very affordable CLD-60SCE electric-acoustic
Harley Benton has unveiled its latest acoustic-electric guitar model, the CLD-60SCE, which comes as part of its custom line series.
This electric-acoustic model features a cutaway dreadnought body that combines a solid spruce top with a mahogany back and sides. This is paired with a mahogany neck and a Roseacer (thermally treated maple) fingerboard with 20 vintage frets. To make neck adjustments more versatile, there is a dual-action truss rod, and for its body construction, the guitar adopts scalloped x-bracing.
As for its electronics, the guitar comes equipped with the brand’s in-house designed HB-03 preamp, which has a three-band EQ for tone sculpting and an integrated tuner as well.
The CLD-60SCE comes in two finishes: natural and glossy black. Most notably, is the instrument’s price tag, which sits at a very modest $117.
