Linkin Park to perform at the 2025 UEFA Champions League Final

Linkin Park are set to perform at this year’s UEFA Champions League Final. The recently reformed group will perform ahead of kick off, and will debut a re-imagined version of classic hit, Numb.
The performance will take place at Munich Football Arena on 31st May for over 75,000 football fans. Those not in attendance will still be able to stream it live on UEFA’s official YouTube channel on the day.

While we’re yet to hear the new version of Numb in its entirety, the announcement video provides a short teaser. It seems to incorporate typical football sounds, sampling howling crowds and the thump of a ball being booted down the pitch.
“With our new album and ongoing tour, we’ve been overwhelmed by the fans’ energy and excitement,” Linkin Park say. “We can’t wait to share that same energy and excitement at the UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show.”
“This marks a totally new experience for us as a band,” the group continue. “We’re excited to share some of our favourite songs from the past and present with the thousands in the crowd and millions watching around the world.”

Guy-Laurent Epstein the Co-Managing Director of UC3, has also expressed his excitement over the news. “This year’s UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show presented by Pepsi promises to be a spectacular moment, with one of the world’s most iconic rock bands performing live just minutes before the biggest match in European club football,” he says.
“We’re proud to continue enhancing the fan experience – both in the stadium and for millions watching around the world – with unforgettable entertainment on and off the pitch.”
Linkin Park are currently in the thick of a US tour in support of last year’s record, From Zero. The tour will soon make its way over to Europe and the UK later this year – including a show at Wembley Stadium on 28th June. The show will also have support from metalcore unit Spiritbox and rapper JPEGMAFIA.
The group also recently released a new single, Up From The Bottom. The track serves as a bonus track on the deluxe re-release of their 2024 comeback record.
Tickets to Linkin Park’s tour are available now.
