NAMM 2020 video: ThorpyFX’s parades its latest Field Marshall and Bunker pedals

NAMM 2020: ThorpyFX has revealed its brand-new Field Marshall fuzz and Bunker overdrive pedals, designed in collaboration with Lovetone’s Dan Coggins.
Both the Field Marshall and Bunker are ThorpyFX founder Adrian Thorpe’s rendition of the classic Lovetone Big Cheese and Brown Source, but packaged with some new features and updates.
Field Marshall
The Field Marshall is touted as a sharp-sounding fuzz that features a unique tone/gate bypass. Users can engage the secondary foot switch to either enable the gating function and/or remove the tone stack from the circuit, depending on the pedal’s settings. The Field Marshall features a four-knob layout with controls for volume, tone, fuzz and balance. An additional Mode toggle can be used to remove the gating effect altogether or to keep it footswitchable.
Bunker
Thorpe describes the Bunker as a “inter-modulation distortion” that emulates certain characteristics of a classic Marshall amp. It starts off as a smooth overdrive but can easily venture into higher gain settings thanks to a feedback circuit that results in more harmonic overtones. The Bunker also features a secondary footswitch to trigger a tone stack bypass. Similar to the Field Marshall, the Bunker comes with four knobs, controlling volume, gain, tone and texture, along with two-position Mode toggle.
ThorpyFX’s latest release also features an all-new black enclosure, meant to differentiate its ‘inspired-by’ series from its core line
