
St Vincent covers Tool’s Forty Six & 2
St Vincent has posted a stripped-back acoustic cover of Tool’s song Forty Six & 2, taken from their 1996 record Ænima.
She gave a short caption to the post on Instagram featuring the cover, writing: “TOOL as preshow warm-up during MASSEDUCTION solo tour. Pink bunnysuit hanging in background. Will always love this band. Miss you guys.”

It’s not the first lockdown cover St Vincent has posted – she recently paid tribute to all guitarists with a cover of Stairway To Heaven. She wrote of the song choice: “Since guitar stores have been closed, I thought you might have missed the sound of someone fumbling through Stairway To Heaven.”
