The new version of the digital reverb pedal squeezes all the features offered by the original into a new ultra-compact housing. It offers three reverb algorithms to choose from: Spring, which emulates the sound of an old-school reverb tank; Plate which mimics classic studio reverbs, and Hall which delivers organic sounding ‘verbs of varying spatial dimensions.
Along with traditional Reverb and Mix controls, there’s also a Tone knob that lets you dial in saturated high-frequency content for sparkling tones. The pedal also has a true bypass footswitch that helps keep your instrument’s tone pure when not engaged.
The compact shell – coloured in the same blue finish as its bigger sibling – is fitted with top-mounted jacks to better accommodate other pedals in your ‘board.

The TC Electronic Skysurfer was first released in 2016 and offered players quality reverb tones at an affordable price. New units currently list on Thomann for just £22.50 apiece. According to TC Electronic’s trailer for the Skysurfer Mini, it seems more mini pedals are on the way.
The Skysurfer Mini lists for $50. Learn more at tcelectronic.com
