TC introduces pocket-sized 200 Watt bass head
The miniaturisation of bass amps goes a step further with the launch this week of the BAM200 by TC Electronic. Offering Class D operation, the 200 Watt bass head will literally fit in a jacket pocket yet, despite its size, offers three band EQ, balanced DI output for direct connection to mixing consoles and recording equipment, a headphone amplifier with speaker emulation for personal practice and silent rehearsals.
The BAM200 uses MOSFET inside its steel chassis which TC claims gives the amp a ‘tube sound’. It comes with a three year warranty. No UK price was quoted by the manufacturer.
