Tim Henson names his favourite artist right now: “He comes up with the most insane sounds you’ve ever heard”
Polyphia’s Tim Henson has chosen his favourite artist as of late, and even if you don’t recognise the name you may well have already heard his work.
It’s RJ Pasin – a guitarist and producer with over three million monthly listeners on Spotify alone. Pasin has already been working alongside Henson on his solo project, and on new material with Polyphia too.

Speaking to Kerrang! in a new video posted to Instagram, Henson says, “My favourite new band is RJ Pasin. He’s not really a band but more of a producer, guitar player, but he’s awesome so shoutout RJ.
“The dude is so cracked – it’s insane – at sound design, he just comes up with the most insane sounds you’ve ever heard. We were working with him a lot on my solo record, as well as the new Polyphia record, so I’m excited to mash those sounds together,” he concludes.

So, where might you have heard Pasin before? His latest release, Lobster, has been a huge hit, landing him on the Billboard TikTok Chart at number 18, marking his first charting release. The song has also reached over 19M streams on Spotify, and has been used in TikTok videos for notable brands including Playstation and ESPN.
Pasin has also worked with Bring Me The Horizon on their latest body of work, POST HUMAN: NeX GEn, for track Top 10 staTues tHat CriEd bloOd. Henson also brought in Pasin on his cover of viral hit Million Dollar Baby, originally by Tommy Richman, which you can watch below:
