2024 SRS with Maxed Truss Rod
Hey all,
I noticed my StingRay Special’s neck showing some forward bow yesterday and went to tighten the truss rod. Shockingly, the rod was so tight it broke off the bit of my jeweler tool when I attempted to tighten it. I grabbed an Allen key to attempt to tighten it but stopped once it became apparent that the wheel is either maxed or just stuck.
How do I fix this without damaging the bass?
To be honest, I’ve owned over a hundred basses and never once have I actually seen a maxed truss…
