Got new Monarchy, buzz on A string.

I got a new imperial blue monarchy about a month ago, and straight from the get go there was a decent amount of buzz around the first few frets. I figured it wasn’t a big deal, I could let it sit and adjust it if it didn’t get better to get rid of it. However, no matter how much I have tried adjusting this guitar, I cannot get rid of the buzz on the A string.

The buzzing occurs at about the 3-5th frets. The cleanest I have gotten it was to only get some slight buzz on the 4th fret, but I had to give the neck much more relief than most people would probably be okay with, and the action was around 2.5mm at the 12th fret. I’ve also tried a variety of adjustments, including a completely straight neck, etc, and I have no been able to fix the buzz. All the other strings appear to be fine, but almost nothing helps the A string.

Its a bit wierd because I cannot tell how much of it is actually fret buzz or if the saddle is screwed up. Since most of the notes can come out clean, I’m assuming its not the saddle but at the same time it sounds like it could be a combination of both things. I can change the buzzing slightly when I mess with the saddle, though I can’t seem to find a way to open the cover that goes over them to see if there is a bent spring or something that might need to be fixed.

I also noticed that there is a very slight gap in between the 4th fret and the string when I finger the 3rd and 6th fret, which tells me that maybe the 4th fret is slightly lower than it should be.

Either way, it’s been rather disappointing dealing with this when the guitar is otherwise one of the most amazing sounding instruments I’ve heard/played.

I don’t know if there’s anything anyone would suggest that I try or if I should file a warranty claim on it?
