JP15 battery drainage and possible improvements by EBMM

I practice, or try to, 3 times a day.
Plugging and unplugging the jack is a little worrisome for the connection… I know EBMM are quality guitars but…
wrt the battery life I think it’d be cool to have a small switch somewhere…maybe next to the jack inputs so that when I know I have a session with some acoustic sound I can just leave it ON. Usually it would be on the off position.

Suggestions? Tricks? Ideas?
