JP16 or Axis?

So I am in the market for a new Music Man guitar. I currently have a Majesty Monarchy which I absolutely love! I am trying to make a decision between a JP16 and an Axis with Floyd Rose. I like them both but am having a hard time making up my mind. I know the Axis Floyd only dives while the JP16 Floyd can go up/down both and that does not really matter to me. I play mostly 80’s Hair Band stuff and some Rush and a little Dream Theater (not up to Petrucci skills yet). Anyone played both or have any suggestions? No guitar stores near me that stock Music Man where I can try out both. Any and all comments/suggestions are welcome! Thanks!
