Long lead time for John Myung Signature

I ordered a JM Signature Bongo 6 on Jan 6 this year and was told there was a lead time of 6 months. Checked in on them in May and the shipping team updated the ETA to be in July. Long story short, the latest from the EB factory was that now there’s an additional delay of 2 months and ETA is pushed further back to September.
I cannot see the reason for the delay…
