Negotiating price of new Cutlass SSS at local shop?

Hi Folks. I’m thinking of buying a new Ernie Ball Music Man Cutlass SSS from a Hartford-area local shop, and I’m wondering what luck you all have had negotiating the price down from the manufacturer’s “street price” of $2,599. I’d also love to hear what you eventually paid for it. Thanks!
