Nova ND-1 Delay Pedal
Several months ago I bought a new ND-1. I took it out of the box the next day & messed with it for about 10 minutes. At that time I noticed that the Delay knob, when turned, caused the digital display numbers to continually ramp up or down incrementally, depending on which direction i turned the knob, even though the knob was stationary after being reset/moved. In other words – if I turned the Delay knob clockwise a little the digital display would continue to climb up until it reached its highest number & could go no further. If I turned the Delay knob counter-clockwise a bit the numbers would scroll down continually until it hit 1 and stopped. At the time I thought it was just new user error. I put it back in the box to wait for a more opportune time to learn it but I have been working so much that I pretty much left it alone until last night. I experienced the same frustrating behavior and have come to the conclusion that it is a faulty unit. Probably past warranty. Anybody have this kind of problem with yours? What did you do about it? Factory fix? So irksome to have a brand new unit that doesn’t work right.
