White 83 Stingray colour
Hi folks
I have a beautiful 83 Ray in white. Along with another white 83 I have seen, it shows no discolouration at all except under the black pickguard. Usually I’d expect the opposite. Does the PG react with the clear coat?

The guy selling the other white 83 said it’s not ‘Olympic’ white and doesn’t fade like earlier ones but I doubt that’s true. Maybe it’s just been played in smoke free bars over the years?
Any pointers or experiences?
