Birmingham Guitar Show promises to be bigger and better in 2018

With more than 20 new exhibitors and a new Technology Hall, The Guitar Show will be back bigger and busier than ever for 2018, promises the organiser Torn and Frayed Ltd. Taking place at Bingley Hall in Birmingham on February 24-25, the event also promises freebies for early birds on Saturday 24.

The first day of the show will open at 9:42am precisely and, thanks to the sponsorship of Ernie Ball’s Super Slinky strings, the first nine visitors through the doors will receive an Ernie Ball t-shirt and set of electric guitar strings (in their choice of gauge – not necessarily 9-42), while the next 42 will also grab a set of strings.

On the exhibition floor, among the most exciting developments for 2018 promises to be the presence of the European Guitar Builders Association (EGB). The alliance of independent luthiers across the continent, who will be showing one-off and bespoke instruments.

The well-received Acoustic Hall returns again in 2018, to allow visitors to escape the noise of the main hall. The show will also host music production gear in the Technology Hall.

In addition to the array of guitars, amps effects and accessories, the Guitar Show will be an opportunity for visitors to spend money, thanks to the involvement of of retail partners PMT and Fairdeal Music.

Tickets for The Guitar Show are priced at £12.50 (£6 Under 16s) in advance and £15 (£10 Under 16s) on the door and in advance from the website.
